Don’t have at least $2,450? Then you can’t own the cheapest of these smartphones

When smartphones first came into existence, they were pricey, and only the rich could them (or the best of them). The presence of budget devices have given smartphones an everyone rating now; with the capital and bold E.

However, despite budget smart phones and even the high-end ones, there seem to be a group of devices that are “higher-end”.  We’ll be looking at two out of numerous examples out there. Hey! These smartphones are really really pricey… even pricier than pricey?

Lamborghini Alpha-One

The recently launched Lamborghini Alpha-One Android smartphone is a true definition of what most people call a “high-end” device. The Italian brand is famous for producing exquisite and fast cars. Seems the company wants to relay such feats into the smartphone market too by producing exquisite and fast phones. Hence, they gave us the Alpha-One.

The Alpha-One comes with a beautifully designed made from liquid alloy which is resistant to corrosion. The body is then finely coated with handmade Italian black leather.

On the specs side, the Lamborghini Alpha-One boasts of top-notch details. A large 5.5-inch QHD AMOLED display with a high 2560×1440 resolution occupies most of the device frontals. Been a very expensive smartphone, it should also be durable. Hence the presence of the protective Corning Gorilla Glass.

Powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 Quad-core processor alongside a huge 4 GB of RAM, smooth processing of operations is expected. Gaming and overall graphics will be handled by the Adreno 530 GPU. There is a micro SD card slot for storage expansion of up to 128 GB. You know, just in case the inherent 64 GB of built-in storage gets insufficient for your storage needs.

The Alpha-One comes with dual SIM card support (both SIM ports supports Nano SIM only) and a fingerprint scanner. The smartphone runs on the just-recently-stopped-being-the-latest Android Nougat operating system (version 7.0) and is kept up and running by a colossal 3,250mAh battery with QuickCharge 3.0.

Rear camera is 20 megapixels, selfie camera is 8 megapixels.

The Lamborghini Alpha-One has a price tag of $2,450. So if you are on the look out for a device to match your to Lamborghini car, the Alpha-One is the best choice.

Mobiado Grand Touch Executive Marble

This device is said to have been made from Stone.

The Mobiado Grand Touch has a 4.65 inch Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen. Seem everything about this device is “rock” solid. There’s a main camera of 5 megapixels at the back of the device and a LED flash below it. The Mobiado Executive Marble smartphone comes in handy with 1 GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage. Available in 5 different colours; granite, marble, burl, cocobolo, and ebony, the Executive Marble is a touch of class.

One very unique thing about this “stone phone” from Mobiado is the SIM card key mechanism. To insert a SIM card, you’ll require the customized Mobiado key to disassemble the complicated stainless steel component of the device, then reassemble. This definitely will require technical knowledge or help.

The device doesn’t really do well or excite spec-wise. But hey, it is made from stone… and a bunch of complex stainless metal consortium.

Well, guess what? As weirdly looking as this device is, the price tag adds to the reason(s) you wouldn’t be buying it. The Mobiado Grand Touch Executive Marble costs $3,100.
