PURE ETCR, the world’s first all-electric, multi-brand touring car championship has signed a broadcast agreement with Pay Television Company StarTimes Media. The broadcaster will provide PURE ETCR with an expansive broadcast platform across terrestrial, satellite and mobile application.Airing its first full season in 2021, PURE ETCR will host five all-action events in Europe and Asia, beginning at Autodromo Vallelunga Piero Taruffi, Italy, from June 18th to 20th.
The competing machines will see the most powerful touring cars ever built with a peak power of 500kW – the equivalent of 670bhp – generated by their electric motors take part in the three-day extravaganza.
Speaking on the latest motor sports offering available on the pay television platform, StarTimes Regional Marketing Director Mr. Aldrine Nsubuga noted that PURE ETCR championship is another motor sports property that will complement the already rich offering by the broadcaster moving forward.

PURE ETCR is the second electric motorsport property the broadcaster has secured having already introduced Extreme E – the pioneering electric off-road motor racing series.
