The mySafaricom app has received an update that improves the app.
This major update is currently seeding, so check your Play Store and update the utility tool as soon as possible. iPhone users may have received the update as well, so they should check it out as well.
Here are a few things that thrill me:
- Finally, a dark mode is available. We’ve all been waiting for this feature for a long time, and we’re delighted it’s now here. We expect that the M-PESA app, which was recently released, will receive the same treatment.
- Finally, and to a degree, Sambaza data can be accessed. Remember back in 2015/4 when unlawful Safaricom data sales were a thing? The operator chose to shut down the business by limiting Sambaza data to just 10 megabytes each day, and only twice a day.
You can make your line as long as you like. Following that, you may choose how much data each number should have access to from your line, which can range from 10 MB to 1 GB.
The recipient will only receive an SMS alerting them that they may access the assigned bundle from your line, not the data. They will be able to browse as a result of this.
A tracker within the app will show you if they consume the data. You can opt to add them again once you’ve exhausted them.
Tunukiwa, bonus, promotional, and daily packages are not transferable.
