On August 12, the expensive Honor Magic3 will be presented and the Honor X20 5G. The latest mid-range smartphone of the former Huawei subsidiary can already be seen on many teaser images and leaked render pictures, while a shop confirms many specs.
After the many leaks about the Honor Magic3, it is hardly surprising that a lot of information about the Honor X20 5G is now leaking because the highly reliable leaker Evan Blass has shared some render images, while the Chinese online shop has already confirmed the first specs of the device. But even Honor itself has not been idle because the company has revealed the design and features through several teaser images.
Accordingly, the Honor X20 5G is a mid-range smartphone equipped with a 120 Hz fast display. Whether the device relies on an AMOLED display or an LCD is still unclear, but the fingerprint sensor on the right side indicates the latter. The tiny screen edges lead to a screen-to-body ratio of 94.4 per cent, and an e-book mode should make reading at night particularly pleasant.
The pill-shaped punch hole seems to house only one camera. Presumably, Honor also uses a sensor for 3D face recognition. There is a round camera module on the back that houses three lenses, including the 64 megapixels f/1.9 primary camera with a small-format equivalent focal length of 27 mm. Still, the other two lenses look suspiciously small. The smartphone can be charged with up to 66 watts. Inside works a MediaTek Dimensity 900, which is provided with 6 GB to 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB to 256 GB of flash memory.
