In the middle of the year, Samsung refreshes one of its most popular smartphones. The Galaxy A52 gets a performance boost with the Galaxy A52s and a new mint green color option, which can now be seen for the first time in official render images in addition to all other color variants.
As in the previous year, Samsung will also take an intermediate stage in 2021 on the way to the Galaxy A53 next year. The Galaxy A52, here with us in the test (4G version, 5G version), will soon get an interim successor under the name Galaxy A52s, as was already known a few days ago. Not too much changes with this new model, for example, the design with Infinity-O display and quad cam on the back is absolutely identical to what we got from Samsung at the beginning of the year.
This is shown by the official render images in the colors mint green, violet, white and black, which have now been leaked from two sources for the first time. New here is actually only the mint green color option, the others were already available in the predecessor. Inside, however, Samsung has upgraded neatly and given the Galaxy A52s a powerful speed upgrade. Instead of a Snapdragon 720G (Snapdragon 750G in the 5G version), the Snapdragon 778G produced in the 6 nm process is now installed, which is of course also 5G-capable.
Whether there will be further innovations compared to the previous model is not yet known in detail, but Samsung will probably stay with the 6.5-inch AMOLED display and 128 GB of memory in any case. Whether the camera sensors will be upgraded remains to be seen. Most recently, the launch price of 50,000 Kenyan money was already announced, the Galaxy A52 currently costs Ksh 44,899 in the 4G version on Jumia.
