So, whether you want to reduce your reliance on Google Keep and Apple Notes or simply optimize your favorite Social Media apps to become more productive, there are effective ways to do so. So, here’s everything you need to know about using social media platforms, messaging apps, and email apps to take notes for you.

What is the best way to take notes on Facebook?

Until October 2020, Facebook had a separate section for notes where you could jot down whatever you needed. However, things have changed since then, and while this feature has been removed, there are workarounds available. Here’s how to make a note on Facebook.

  • Log in to your Facebook account using your preferred browser.
  • You’ll be taken to the News Feed section once you’ve done so.
  • Now, in the create post section, type the note that you want. Remember that you can also include an image or other type of content in the note.
  • Your post’s audience will be set to Public; this setting should be changed to Only Me.
  • Select the Only Me option by clicking the dropdown arrow.
  • Once the post has been created, click the Post button.
  • Once the post is live (only for you), it will appear in your News Feed, along with a horizontal three-dot menu in the top right corner of the screen. Navigate to the three-dot menu.
  • Click the first option in the menu, i.e Save Post.
  • An additional Save To window will appear, prompting you to select the collection to which the post should be saved. At the bottom of the window, there will be a text box with the option to create a new collection. Enter a name for the note collection and press the Create button.
  • After creating the collection, return to the Save Post option from the three-dot menu by clicking it.
  • Now, click the newly created collection, and then click Done.
  • The post has effectively been converted into a note, which you can now access via the Collection.
