The first quarter of 2022 should naturally be a launch window for the next iPhone SE. Unfortunately, the smartphone will still adapt the 2020 model(Design wise) plus a 5G Soc.

The year 2024 would see the most significant developments. This is essentially what display analyst Ross Young, frequently highly informed and specialized in display difficulties, tells us. Today, the interested party tweeted some information regarding the forthcoming iPhone SE that he had gleaned. We discover, for example, that the handset will be called iPhone SE Plus… but will not have a bigger screen diagonal.

We’d stick with a 4.7-inch IPS LCD screen, like the iPhone SE 2020 and iPhone 8. Apple has traditionally used the suffix “Plus” to designate a giant iPhone or one with more capabilities. This would oddly not be the case for the iPhone SE Plus in 2022, with one exception: the latter would include a 5G connection to set it apart from its predecessor.

Other reports, according to WCCFTech, suggested that 5G will arrive on the iPhone SE in 2022. However, the device may be confined to a Snapdragon X60 modem, leaving Apple’s Snapdragon X65 (more powerful) modem used in the iPhone 13. It would be a method for the company to save expenses, which is the iPhone SE’s primary purpose.

The debut of 5G on the iPhone SE isn’t always a positive thing if the device’s 4.7-inch format is verified. In these circumstances, Apple runs the danger of not incorporating a bigger battery (unless you thicken the smartphone). Because 5G consumes a lot of power, the iPhone SE 2022 may lag in autonomy. It should be noted that the 2020 model has already failed to impress at this point. The new model, like its predecessor, will most likely stand out for its excellent equipment/price ratio. We also discovered an A15 Bionic chip, the same as the one seen in the iPhone 13.

According to Ross Young, the critical design alterations for their part will occur in 2024. The iPhone would then feature a 6.1-inch diagonal display and a redesigned body similar to the late iPhone XR. It may also have Face ID face recognition technology and a fingerprint reader on one of its sides.
