It is only a few days since the MacBook Pro from the Cupertino firm went live on 18th October. In 2021 there is no questions of Expectations and realities of the new MacBook pros as the manufacturer came up with new features that we did not even expect to see in this year’s models. We are talking of the new design, faster chips, new mini LED screens, and the known connectors’ comeback.
The only question that remains unanswered currently is what improvements will the 2022 edition take from the 2021 models. Based on rumor mill rumors, the MacRumor guys are compiling a list of potential upgrades. As a result, the following considerations should not be discarded out of hand.
These enhancements are in or not yet in
Isn’t it true that if you employ a display notch, you should also use face recognition? Apple, on the other hand, does not include it in the current MacBook Pro. Things might be very different sooner because even if Apple continues to deny it, Face ID will eventually make its way to the Mac. Even though the M1 Pro and M1 Max outperform the preceding M1, they are still the first generation of Apple CPUs for the Mac. However, the M2 Pro and Max variants are expected to replace them next year. Apple will continue to make it at 5 nanometers, but it will be more efficient and quicker. As for the OLED displays, one thing is obvious Apple is collaborating with Samsung and LG on the next generation of OLED panels, which might ultimately replace the recently launched tiny LED screens.
A touchscreen, on the other hand, is something you should not anticipate. Even though this functionality is nearly ubiquitous in the PC competitors, Apple insists on strict isolation. If you want a touchscreen, you’ll have to go for the iPad Pro; a touchscreen for the MacBook Pro and macOS will very certainly never be available. Apple is a tough cookie who refuses to give up. Apple is unlikely to unveil the new MacBook Pro until the summer of 2022 at the earliest, although an upgrade in the fall is more likely. So, if you’re considering purchasing a current MacBook Pro 2021, we believe you don’t need to wait and can go ahead and get it now.
