This week we have a new device up for review the realme 6, and it comes with some of the best features you wouldn’t want to miss on your phone. Realme 6 was launched in Kenya sometimes back to meet the growing demands for mid-range smartphones in the market.

In the box, we have the phone itself, a clear silicone case, a Type C charging cable and 3OW Power brick, SIM ejector tool and user guide.

Realme 6 Quick Review

The device features a comet-like design with multiple streaks that runs down at the back for a more classy look. Our review unit comes in Comet-Blue.

On the right side, we have the power button and on the left side, we have the volume button and the sim right on the upper left side of the phone. unlike most mid-range phones that have both the volume rocker on the same side, the realme 6 has buttons on separate sides that gives it a more unsullied look.

The power button also tops up as a fingerprint sensor. At the bottom we have the headphone jack, the box doesn’t come with headphones though. It also comes with Type- C charging port and a speaker grille

The phone comes with a 6.5″ display with a 16MP punch-hole selfie camera and a 90Hz smooth display. The screen has a 1080p resolution of 2400 by 1080 pixels.

At the back, is a quad-camera set up that comes with a 64 MP f/1.8 primary sensor, an 8MP f/2.3 wide-angle lens, a 2MP f/2.4 macro lens and a 2MP f/2.4 surrounded by metal trim. It gives you 5 camera options to play around with. The camera modes include Portrait, HDR, Ultra Macro, Night mode, Expert mode, Slow motion mode (offers up to 720mp for slow-motion videos. Timelapse and Pano.

We did sample shots and the camera is incredibly good. The shots are super!

You can shoot 4K Videos at 30fps or 1080 at 60 fps while the camera selfies can be taken with the AI beautification that comes as a default phone setting.

Under the hood, it has a MediaTek Helio G90T processor an Octa-core at 2 by 2.05 GHz, Cortex-A76 and 6×2.0 GHz Cortex-A55 GPU and a Mali G76 MC4 GPU.

The internal features offer unmatched performance to allow you to switch between apps, set parental controls, check your socials and even browse uninterrupted.

It also houses an inbuilt 30W flash charge 4300mAh battery that can charge up to full capacity in less than an hour and can last more than a day. It packs 8GB RAM and 128 GB of internal storage.

The realme 6 is built on the Android 10 and Realme UI for unrivalled gaming performance and lag-free browsing.

Basically, the look and feel of the phone makes it a top range contender in the midrange smartphone category. With just 30,000 the phone gives you an excellent battery performance, photography, gaming, classic display, good features and a premium design.
