Realme, the fastest growing smartphone brand continues to bring tech and innovation to consumers by launching newer models. Just recently we witnessed the global launch of the realme 9 series and the brand is set to launch its latest smartphone, the realme 9i, in Kenya later this month.
The company is yet to officially confirm the dates but it is set for the launch.
The realme 9i is the newest model in the number series after the realme 8 series. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor, one of the first in the country. And comes with either 4 or 6GB of RAM and 64 or 128GB of internal storage space. The phone has a high-quality triple camera, a massive 6.6-inch display with a 90Hz refresh rate and is equipped with a battery of 5,000 mAh that supports 33W fast charging.
The model will come in two colours for the county, prism blue and prism black.
The recommended retail price is not out yet, however it is rumoured to be between 21,000 and 25,000 Kenya shillings. We also don’t have information on pre-orders but here are some quick specs to help you make better purchase decisions.

Is it a good buy?
A quick delve into it, this is quite a good midrange phone. From the quick features above, it’s powered by The Qualcomm Adreno 610 is a mobile graphics card for mid-range smartphones and tablets. It is included in the Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoCs and is based on the Adreno 600 architecture which promises good performance.
