Huawei Mobile Kenya has announced the availability of the MatePad 10.4 2022 edition in the market. The new-gen mid-range educational device will be retailing for KES 46,999 and is powered by HarmonyOS 2.
The tablet has a 10.4-inch 2K FullView Display and Harman Kardon-tuned quad-speakers for a wonderful sound experience. The HUAWEI M-Pencil Package is also compatible with the tablet (2nd generation).
Huawei says the MatePad is also a joy to behold thanks to the micro-curved frame which makes the device look thinner while weighing only 450 grams allowing for a more comfortable grip.
It has a 10.4-inch 2K HUAWEI FullView Display with an 84 percent screen-to-body ratio, which allows users to fully immerse themselves in the experience without being distracted.
The HUAWEI MatePad has a 7250mAh battery that can last up to 12 hours of continuous local 1080p video playback. It also has 22.5W HUAWEI SuperCharge, which takes only 2.5 hours to fully charge, giving customers peace of mind.
The company explains that multi-tasking has been enhanced with features like Multi-Windows, which enables consumers to open up to four windows of different apps simultaneously. There is also App Multiplier which has been updated and now adds more flexibility and convenience to the landscape app experience.
As it is powered by HarmonyOS, there’s still no access to Google Apps. But Huawei promises AppGallery will be able to give you all the apps, games and services you may need.
