OPPO is set to launch its Reno 7 Series on 25th April 2022 in Kenya at an estimated price of Ksh 55,000 promising users latest design technology due to its Fiberglass-Leather Design with a simple but effective spliced camera design.

Powered by Android 11 running the custom made ColorOS 12.1, OPPO Reno7 5G comes in two fresh colours; Sunset Orange and Cosmic Black, has 6.43 inch display screen, weighs around 173 g and spots an 8 GB + 256 GB RAM and ROM respectively. The phone’s 4500mAh battery supports USB OTG (Reverse charging), 65W fast charging promising only a 5-minute charge to play a game and 31 minutes to full charge.

Reno 7 and Reno 7 5G are part of the Reno series and follow the Reno 6 and Reno 6 5G which were launched in the Kenyan market and performed well among the savvy buyers looking for something sleek, affordable and as well productive. OPPO mostly stands out for its cameras and the Reno 7 5G comes with ultra-high-resolution 64MP rear camera trio and the Sony-powered 32MP front camera promising users DSLR-like portraits with a delicately blurred background and DSLR-esque motion picture combined with OPPO’s special Smart Skin Tone Protection AI, front or back, during the day or night.

It’s predecessor, the OPPO Reno 6 5G came in two shadings-Stellar black and the Aurora in 156.8 x 72.1 x 7.6 mm dimensions and weighing just 182g allowing one to reach the device with a single hand from all angles. OPPO Reno 6 5G battery was ranked as the best globally by the Dxomark Battery ranking with a score of 96, amongst 40 smartphones tested to date.

The 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 fast-charge technology battery can be charged to an indicated 100% in 29 minutes and an actual full charge in 35 minutes. This is one of the reasons for scoring 109 in the charging performance category. DXOMARK’s test also shows that the device can gain over 10 hours of autonomy with just a 5-minute charge when the battery level is under 50% capacity, providing quick-boost autonomy ahead of any other smartphone. OPPO Reno6 5G has the best charge-up performance in its category, earning it a first-place score of 101 for overall efficiency across the entire Battery protocol database to date.

In addition, the test showed OPPO Reno6 5G performs well in battery autonomy and that the phone would be capable of delivering 57 hours of autonomy with moderate use. OPPO Reno6 5G outshines the category average battery performance when using social apps, gaming, streaming music, and streaming video (both cellular and Wi-Fi), highlighting its strong performance under typical day-to-day usage.

OPPO Reno 7 5G will definitely stand out and win even more awards when we dig into its hidden features.
