Jumia has partnered with 4PX, a Chinese global logistics company, to enable it expand its reach in Africa by utilizing Jumia’s last-mile capabilities. Deliveries will first start in Nigeria before gradually being expanded to Kenya, Egypt, and Morocco over the coming months.
The announcement comes just two weeks after the e-commerce leader entered into a similar partnership with Global logistics and package delivery company UPS..

Our tailored logistics infrastructure, combined with physical assets, technology, and strong local partners, have been developed to offer seamless last mile coverage across our countries of operation,” said Apoorva Kumar, SVP Logistics, Jumia Group.

This partnership demonstrates the strength of the Jumia logistics platform, which has established itself as a pan-African champion, supporting an increasing number of African and international enterprises in expanding their footprint on the continent.
Jumia has more than 3,000 drop-off and pick-up locations around Africa. With the help of its 600+ logistics partners, Jumia processed more than 34 million packages in 2021.
4PX, which is ranked third in China’s cross-border e-commerce sector, has partnered with over 1 million sellers and has an 8 million package daily operation capacity.
