TikTok is reportedly considering allowing users to play games on the app, with preliminary tests taking place in Vietnam.

If the popular video app passes early testing, it might be a significant move into a sector that has proven to be one of TikTok’s most productive.

Not only does this imply that users are spending more time in the app. It may also assist TikTok in attracting more advertising revenue.

The corporation stated that it was testing HTML5 games through third-party studios and collaborations, although it has yet to confirm testing in Vietnam or its broader goals.

According to those familiar with the situation, TikTok will obtain permits to feature games on its app in accordance with local legislation.
