The technical data sheet for the Xiaomi 12T and Xiaomi 12T Pro is already out. Some of the most significant features of these models include one of the most Powerful Qualcomm Chipsets and a 200 megapixel
The Xiaomi 12, introduced in March 2022, could receive new variants by year’s end. In August of last year, rumours circulated that Xiaomi was working on two “T” versions of its successors, as it had done with the Xiaomi 11. Therefore, the Xiaomi 12T and 12T Pro would be the subject here.
The two phones would have many things in common: 5,000 mAh battery, 120 Hz refresh rate, 6.67-inch OLED screen, 2,712 x 1,220-pixel resolution, 120 W charge—67 W is not to be excluded on the 12T. However, in addition to their 20-megapixel selfie camera, the pair chose a plastic chassis that, given their alleged price placement, may be characterized as unique.
The Pro edition costs 849 euros, while the standard version costs 649 euros. At this price, and particularly for the 12T Pro, we anticipate a higher-quality material to taste in the phone. We assume that Xiaomi has bowed to a little concession to keep the pricing in check in the face of the current inflation.
The more expensive model would therefore stand out in two ways: the kind of processor it uses, for example, a Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 CPU paired with 8 or 12 GB of RAM. So before the November 14th introduction of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, we are dealing with Qualcomm’s most advanced chipset yet.
Additionally, and most importantly, the Xiaomi 12T Pro would include a 200-megapixel (f/1.69) primary sensor. However, since the Motorola Edge 30 Ultra offered him exclusivity in this subject in September 2022, he would still not have it. So, we would have to depend on a 2-megapixel macro and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle sensor.
Given that the Xiaomi 12T presumably uses a Mediatek Dimensity 8100 processor, its performance is slightly more limited. In terms of photographic interpretation, the same song would still be played with a 108-megapixel sensor (f/1.65) in play. The Pro version would include the same extreme wide angle and macro settings.
