Tesla Berlin Gigafactory catches fire, activists demand production halt

The Tesla Gigafactory in Berlin caught fire. The fire started at a recycling plant attached to the main facility. It happened at 3 a.m. local time in Germany. A large amount of cardboard and wood caught fire in the factory's recycling facility, according to German media. It is currently unknown what caused the incident. The flames could be seen from afar, and it took 50 firefighters, 12 of whom were from Tesla's own brigade, to put out the fire. Around 8 a.m., the combined teams were able Extinguish the fire. Fortunately, there have been no reports of injured factory workers.
