Honor China has unveiled a new smartphone in China, the Play 40 Plus 5G. The new phone runs on Android 12 with a Magic UI 6.1 user interface and is powered by a Dimensity 700 chipset. It has a huge battery of 6,000 mAh, which is the largest of all time, and supports charging of up to 22.5W.
The Play 40 Plus has a big display of a 6.74” LCD screen with 720p resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. The camera system is designed in a dual circle and comprises a selfie camera located at the top center of the screen with a waterdrop notch with 5MP. The rear has a 50MP main camera alongside a 2MP depth sensor.
The phone comes in three memory configurations which include 8GB RAM paired with either 128GB or 256GB, and 6GB RAM with 128GB storage.
The phone retails in four colors, Purple, Silver, Blue, and Black which are priced at CNY1,199 ($165) for the 6/128GB version, CNY1,399 ($195) for an 8/128GB unit, and CNY1,599 ($220) for the top 8/256GB model.
