Nothing has debuted into the audio industry with the launch of their first Ear (Stick), dubbed the Nothing Ear (Stick). The new earphones are far from nothing compared to their predecessors starting with the unique packaging which is inside a cylindrical and transparent case, that allows access by rotation.
The earphones are powered by a battery of 36 mAh which is able to support up to 29 hours of audio, with its case, which retails with a USB-C port. Both can take full charge in 9 hours.
The Ear(Stick) is light in weight and with dynamic drivers of 12.6 mm. They also offer a balanced sound quality between low and high frequencies and an enhanced diaphragm.
It is water and sweat resistant as per the IP54 certification and supports Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity with AAC and SBC codecs. It also supports Google Fast Pair and Microsoft Quick Switch.
It however lacks active noise cancellation but has a Clear Voice enabled by the three microphones which filter noise. There is also a Bass Lock that controls frequencies depending on the surrounding.
The touch controls assist with media playback and voice assistance. It also allows sync with Nothing Phone (1) in low latency mode which assists with gaming.
