MediaTek and Nvidia have announced a collaboration to provide a full spectrum of in-vehicle AI cabin solutions. The partnership combines the strengths of each company’s automotive portfolios to provide a competitive connected car solution.
Both MediaTek and Nvidia already have quite capable in-vehicle solutions. Dimensity Auto is available from MediaTek, and Nvidia provides a full suite of software and hardware, including Nvidia Drive OS and TensorRT. Both companies’ solutions are ready-to-use for automakers in the fields of infotainment and autonomous driving, in addition they are both are heavily invested in artificial intelligence.
The collaboration will enable MediaTek to create an automotive processor with integrated Nvidia graphics. This solution will include Nvidia AI and graphics IP with Nvidia OS powering MediaTek’s smart in-cabin solutions.
