Ecobank Group, a banking group that operates across Africa, is inviting innovative and ambitious fintech entrepreneurs from Africa to apply for the 6th edition of the Ecobank Fintech Challenge.
The Fintech Challenge provides excellent opportunities for fintechs that align with Ecobank’s strategic objectives.
It allows them to partner with Ecobank and expand their innovative solutions across the bank’s network of 35 African markets and its international operations in France.
Successful applicants who reach the Grand Final will also have the chance to join the prestigious Ecobank Fintech Fellowship program.
“The highly anticipated Grand Finale and Awards ceremony will take place in late September. The overall winner will receive a grand cash prize of $50,000, continuing the tradition from the previous year,” Ecobank noted in a press release.
Ecobank Fintech Fellows will enjoy several benefits through their collaboration with Ecobank and its partners.
These include the opportunity to integrate their solutions with Ecobank for potential product launches in the bank’s Pan-African ecosystem, the chance to become service partners within Ecobank’s ecosystem, exclusive access to Ecobank’s Pan-African Banking Sandbox to test and improve their products, and priority access to Ecobank’s Venture Capital partners for funding exploration.
Fintechs and developers from all African countries, as well as global Africa-centered fintech, are now invited to submit their applications through the official website.
The application window will remain open until July 21, 2023.
