How to delete History from Internet Explorer’s Storage

Like many other browsers, Internet Explorer makes an effort to monitor your online activities. The option to entirely clear the cache, which stores some files gathered during your internet browsing for later use, is also available in the same menu. Performance can be improved by routinely wiping that space—especially important for PCs with less RAM.

Applications like CCleaner can assist you in deleting unnecessary data from your computer. If you do not intend to perform routine maintenance, using such applications is not necessarily the best course of action. Even so, having it available is a wonderful thing to do.

Use the “Private Browsing” function if you don’t want history or temporary files to be collected at all. Simply press the following keys to launch a new private tab (the default configuration is CTRL + SHIFT + P). Additionally, you can manually activate it under the “Safety” submenu.

If you don’t want any records of your internet actions on the PC or in the cloud, private browsing is your best bet.
