Deezer, the global music and podcast streaming service is giving audio fans in Africa another reason to turn up the volume, again.
The global audio streaming service is making music and podcasts even more affordable for audio streaming fans in Angola, Ghana, Mozambique, Tanzania, Uganda, Senegal and the Ivory Coast.
According to Ralph Pighin, SVP Europe, Asia and Africa at Deezer, “Our new price change will make it even easier for more audio fans in Africa to incorporate streaming into their daily lives. From hyperlocal talent to global acts, we want music and podcast fans to have the most personalized experience at a subscription plan that matches their individual needs.”
New price plans in Angola, Ghana, Mozambique, Tanzania and Uganda are:

Deezer price cuts will affect Premium, Family or HiFi, and users will also have access to its podcast tab which features 15 different channels including Business, Sports, Gaming and Technology content. From East Africa Sounds, Afro Hits, Rap Bangers and Hits of the Moment.
Deezer music benefits include easy offline listening allowing users to download all the music and podcasts they want and listen without internet access. The platform also allows users to enjoy flow, Deezer’s signature feature that plays an endless stream of songs one loves and helps you discover new tracks and artists.
Lyrics on the go lets users to follow and sing along to their favourite tracks while the songcatcher an in-app feature that identifies unknown tracks and lets you add them directly to your library. The Country selector is a special Deezer feature that lets you listen to specific local content from any country where Deezer is available, regardless of where you are located.
