Notably, a study conducted by Self Financial revealed that Apple TV+ boasts the highest-rated content on IMDb among streaming platforms.
The study by Self Financial delved into IMDb ratings for content across major US streaming platforms, including Amazon Prime Video, Netflix, Disney+, Hulu, Peacock, HBO Max, Paramount+, and Apple TV+.
Interestingly, Amazon Prime Video currently leads with the largest content library, boasting 13,827 movies and shows which is more than double that of Netflix, which holds the second position – Apple TV+ trails with the smallest catalog, offering only 271 titles.
As you know, quantity isn’t equal to quality, despite its limited catalog, Apple TV+ shines with the highest average content rating of 7.01 out of 10, according to IMDb. Netflix was able to grab it’s a win too by having the highest-rated sports and technology shows and movies, despite Apple’s endeavors to enhance its sports content offerings by signing an exclusive deal with the MLS, the US soccer league which Messi currently plays in.
