Airtel Kenya has opened its revamped, bigger, and better equipped Tivoli customer care shop in Kisumu City to enhance convenience by bringing services closer to its customers.
The shop, located at Tivoli centre, Kisumu City, will serve as the main Airtel customer care touch point in Kisumu City, catering to the needs of the growing number of Airtel customers in the city and its environs.
Speaking during the launch of the shop, Airtel Kenya Managing Director Ashish Malhotra said, “Kisumu City is an industrial and vital commercial centre in the country and is also an economic hub for the larger Nyanza region. For these reasons, we are strategically expanding our network and access to our products and services in this area to ensure that Kisumu residents are not left behind in the digital economy. The launch of the revamped Tivoli customer care shop is a testament to our commitment towards delivering even better experiences for all your Airtel needs.”
This year, Airtel Kenya has been on an aggressive expansion drive of not only its network, but also its distribution and customer service footprint, ensuring that customers get unmatched experiences of its products and services. In February this year, the company launched a customer care shop in Maralal town, Samburu County and in June it opened its first shop in the Northeastern region in Mandera town. The shop launches are all in an endeavour to reach Kenyans from all corners of the country.
As part of its promise towards service expansion, the company has also launched multiple Airtel Money branches across the country where customers can access various products and services including wholesale of airtime to distributors, sale of 4G & 5G Broadband devices, Pocket MiFi devices, SIM cards, SIM swap services and registration of Airtel Money, as well as cash deposit and withdrawal services. These branches today are at a total of over 2300, making it easier for Airtel customers to conveniently access in person services at an area near them.
The shop will be essential in serving the growing number of customers in Kisumu and its environs. Further, Airtel has expanded its network in the lake side city, ensuring businesses and individuals alike thrive through the power of connectivity.
Airtel Kenya’s Customer Experience Director, Goldermier Opiyo, “Besides the expansion of our customer service footprint, we are continually working on innovative solutions to enhance our overall customer service. This is through enhancing the capabilities of our customer service systems and developing our self-help tools such as the MyAirtel App and the USSD code *100#. The developments will supplement the services offered by our Customer Experience Executives in the shops, ensuring a broad and convenient overall customer experience.”
At the Tivoli shop, customers will access a comprehensive range of services and products tailored to meet their diverse needs. The shop’s operating hours are between 9 am to 6 pm on Mondays through to Saturdays and on Sundays, from 11 am to 5pm.
Airtel customers visiting the shop will benefit from a wide array of services including Airtel Money services, Home Broadband solutions including the 5G router and pocket MI-FI, SIM card registration, postpaid premier products and general product inquiries.
Airtel Money has recently launched ‘Paybill Rudishiwa’ offer which gives back 50% of the transaction cost as airtime to customers making payments through Airtel Money to the over 2 million merchant paybills. It allows customers to enjoy the convenience of mobile payments while still receiving the benefits of airtime.
