The Guroo VOIP application has now made its way to South Africa. The application has been lauched by Africom.
Guroo VOIP is an African originated cross platform Voice service that can run on most operating systems.
This App is only four months old and has managed to 14000 international subscribers, with 6000 from USA and the rest from other countries.
So what is the App all about, you ask; this cross platform voice App is internet powered having it will enable you to make calls anywhere in the world for only 6 cents per minute.
Guroo will allow one to own a 08644 number and calls are not restricted to other Guroo users, but to anyone on any network in the world.
If your phone supports the following systems, Android, IOS, Windows pc, Mac OS, why not join the club. Further developments are also underway for Blackberry and Symbian.
You will not need a SIM card all you have to do is download the App and an internet connection plus there are no roaming charges in case you are a frequent traveller.
