In January next year Telkom SA will be having a new Chief Marketing Officer, as it was announced today that Enzo Scarcella will be the new Chief Marketing Officer.
“This appointment gives further impetus to our effort of renewing the top leadership team. In the near future we will have a capable and dedicated team in place to plan and guide Telkom’s transformation,” said the Telkom SA’s CEO, Sipho Maseko “The priorities we have set ourselves require us to attain the highest level of proficiency in actions such as investing in and repositioning the brand, shaping the Company’s public profile, understanding customer needs and responding to changing customer behaviors,” he explains.
The new manager in the block, Scarcella has honours in Business Administration from Harvard University and a diploma in marketing from the Kellogg School of Business in Chicago.
He has spent the last eighteen years managing some of South Africa’s known brands, including Castle Lager, M-Net and Edgars. he has directed the Vodacom brand, including the brand’s migration from blue to red, as Managing Executive of Marketing
The Sunday Times has nominated Scarcella as “Marketing personality of the Year”.
