The East AfricaCom will get a major boost from Airtel, Liquid Telecom, East Africa Data Centre and Seacom. The four companies have promised to sponsor East AfricaCom 2014 in making preparation for the event.
This conference is set to take place from 20-21 May at the Safari Park Hotel in Nairobi, Kenya. This is a summit for all mobile and telecommunications companies in East Africa. The countries being referred to as East Africa include Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Somalia, South Sudan and Burundi.
“At East AfricaCom you will hear from and network with 600+ attendees including the leading mobile and fixed-line operators and ISPs in the region, as well as local and international OTT players and content providers, vendors, regulators and other stakeholders,” stated Informa Telecoms and Media, the United Kingdom-based organisers of the event.
Incorporating the whole of the whole region, East AfricaCom is a must-attend for anyone who wants to break into or confirm their position in the Telecoms, Media and ICT Industry.
The topics that are going to be discussed this year include; Long Term Evolution, connectivity, customer experience management, cost efficiency and profitability, mobile money and applications.
