Kenya’s video on demand service, Bunitv has today launched buni+ a monthly subscription service for as cheap as 415ksh per month.
Coinciding with with the celebrations of Lupita Nyongo as the first Kenyan to win Best Supporting Actress Oscar win and global attention turns on African talent, Buni TV promises to have local programme like Nairobi Half Life, The Rugged Priest, Ni Sisi or the massively successful gangster film Jerusalema:Gangstar Paradise and compelling television like South African drama The Mating Game.
According to Mary Lora Mungai Bunitv CEO: “The launch of Buni+ is a big milestone on which our team has been working hard for a while, so we’re very excited. Buni+ subscribers will be able to enjoy a wide range of amazing movies, short films, TV shows and documentaries, and we also have several major TV deals in the pipeline.”
Fans of THE XYZ SHOW will also be able to access new Season 9 episodes on Buni+ one day before they air on television. After one week these episodes will become available to all users for free.
Viewers interested in subscribing can pay via M-Pesa and other mobile money services, credit card, or Paypal, and can cancel the service at any time.
