IMG_1847-682x1024Lucia Musau has always been keen on fashion, as a matter of fact, initially her firm African Elite Model was majorly organizing fashion events in Mombasa Kenya before it ventured into corporate events.

According to Musau, the more the firm got into corporate events, the more she missed the fashion world. The Kenyan Fashionado blog began from there in a bid to be on the forefront of fashion in Kenya.

She never knew, the blog would help her be keen in social media, network globally and become a thriving business on the internet platform . She has also been fullified helping/advising others on how to look the part at every occasion and make the world a better dressed place.

Though founded two years ago, the Kenyan Fashionado blog really took off last year when Musau decided to post consistently and use professional photography and set up a Nairobi office. Apart from her, Gabriel Kamau Irungu of Gabriel house of photography and Faith Kioko joined her as photopgrapher and assistant respectively.

Musau, a marketer and founder & CEO of African Elite Model Ltd a firm specializing in experiential marketing and events Management has a Bachelor of Business Administration – Marketing from Kenya Methodist University, a Diploma in Business Management from University of Nairobi and French studies (Avancé) from Alliance Française de Mombasa.

The fashion blog showcases day to day fashion, beauty and reviews products for its users. At the moment, the firm has a good number of clientele such as Deacons Book Donation Campaign and Pretty n Pure promotion.

“Besides that we have also have worked for individual style makeovers which are always very interesting. Our social reach includes; Facebook 9,840 followers, Instagram 1,547 followers and Twitter 3,038 followers. And growing.” Musau tells TechMoran adding that tenacity and continued innovation have been the blog’s driving force.
