Nairobi based Private seed fund, 88mph operating as an incubator for startups by offering accelerator programs to expose different ideas to their respective industries through training is set to rebrand to Nairobi startup garage in June.

The program that runs in different countries in Africa; Kenya, Nigeria and South Africa targets the African market to grow startup ideas based on web and mobile as well as  train and fund them in the accelerator program.

Run by Nikolai Barnwell, the program has created a competitive setting where startups spend three intensive months launching products and finding customers.

Sponsored by Microsoft and Google, 88mph has seen various companies establish; Apex Peak, GraphFlow and Ghafla among others. The garage has invested ksh371.5 million in all three countries having 204.4 million invested in 19 Kenyan startups.

The rebranding is inline with the ongoing activities offered only making it more relatable.
