Super-diva Omotola one of the Time Magazine’s 100 Most Influential People In The World list will be starring in konga.com’s new marketplace commercial in a bid to market the initiative.
It had a soft launch earlier this year and it has now become open to all.
Konga’s marketplace is a place where sellers can reach a nationwide audience with their products. The initiative aims to reach out to Nigerians in the diaspora to alert them on Konga’s Online Marketplace. Nigeria’s sweetheart, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde is now set to spread the word.
“Once we told her about the marketplace, she was excited and agreed to be a part of it all.” note organisers.
To date, Omotola, is known for her top performance in acting, and singing. Since her Nollywood film debut in 1995, she has appeared in at least 300 films selling millions of video copies. This time round, she would for the first time appear in the konga.com advert.
The commercial was recorded in Lagos and follows the transaction of a Konga Marketplace seller. Viewers would get to see how simple it is to become a seller and how lucrative it can be, claim organisers.
