Samsung Launches a Helicopter-Loud Giga Sound System in Kenya

Samsung MX-HS9000For those who love their music loud to match the decibel levels of a helicopter,  Samsung Electronics has today launched its Giga Sound MX-HS9000 system in Kenya, whichmracks up 3400 Watts RMS (Root Mean Square) and is currently the world’s most powerful Mini System according to Samsung.

The system has been designed for party lovers who can decide to move their party outdoors in the case of large turn-outs. The Gigasound System comes packaged with a 7 meter speaker cable and easily brings out the nightclub feel with the DJ Beat Effect and beat lighting effects. So basically, you can be your own DJ with its up to 25 electrifying lighting patterns and 8 DJ beats.

Samsung Electronics Vice President for East and Central Africa Robert Ngeru says that the sound system comes with features developed from customer feedback.

“At Samsung, we are keen on developing products to the liking of our customers. In delivering our world-class products, our goal is to ensure that the customer gets maximum satisfaction from the products,” adds Mr. Ngeru.

This system also comes with two 15” subwoofers and the firm says if the bass is turned up, the two subwoofers will literary shake the ground.The GIGA Beat, Samsung’s unique sound technology, amplifies sound without distortion and generates a rich bass. Speakers deliver heart-pounding sound with punch bass.

Plus, if you have a Samsung Series 7 television or above, you can wirelessly connect to the TV via the TV SoundConnect and enjoy your movies,  music or watching a football match. The system can also function as a Bluetoothspeaker for portable devices enabling one to stream music from a smartphone, tablet or computer.


Samsung has also introduced two more models of Gigasound System, MX-HS8000 and MX-HS7000, to give consumers choice and variety, hence ensuring that they provide a selection of premium, step-up and entry level models for the varied customer segments.

Mr. Ngeru further adds that for every purchase of any model of the Gigasound, customers will get a free Samsung Galaxy Star Plus, a 4inch display Smart phone while stocks last.
