Africa’s supply of labour, to support new investments in industries such as manufacturing and others, is growing. It is estimated that by 2020, Africa will achieve the highest labour force growth globally, gaining 122 million more workers. This growth will lead to an estimated total African labour force of 504 million by 2020, which will be higher than Latin America (316 million), Southeast Asia (331 million) and Europe (354 million).
