Teraco announces support for AWS Direct Connect in Africa

Customers of Amazon Web Services (AWS) are smiling their way through the web as Teraco Data Environments (Pty) Ltd.  Is offering them high-performance network access to AWS by leveraging Level 3 Cloud Connect Solutions.

As part of the AWS Partner Network (APN), and supporting AWS Direct Connect, Level 3 provides network connections to give enterprises access to AWS’ cloud computing platform and services over a dedicated 1 Gbps or 10 Gbps connection.

AWS provides companies with an infrastructure Web-services platform in the cloud that enables application management to be tailored to business needs, and Level 3’s international fibre-optic network is uniquely equipped to help scale in response to enterprise adoption of cloud-based services.
