zoomaProflight Zambia and mobile money transfer company, Zoona have signed a deal that will see travellers book their Proflight tickets with the airline online, over the phone, by email or at a Proflight office and then pay at any one of Zoona’s 500 outlets countrywide.

“It doesn’t get any easier to fly with Proflight,” said Proflight Director of Government and Industry Affairs Captain Philip Lemba. “Paying for a seat on the plane is now as simple as popping to the market to buy some vegetables.”

Passengers will be given a reference number when they book and a time limit in which to pay. This reference number is then quoted when making payment at their nearest Zoona outlet.

Zoona is dedicated to making life easier for our customers and helping communities thrive by making payments and other financial services accessible to all. This new partnership with Proflight gives our customers even more reason to keep using our services.” said Zoona’s Regional Managing Director, Lelemba Phiri.

Zoona provides travellers with an SMS confirming their payment and the ticket will automatically be emailed to the passenger with all their flight information to any one of Proflight’s destinations: Lusaka, Ndola, Livingstone, Mfuwe, Ndola, Solwezi, Kasama, Lubumbashi or Lilongwe.

Fares can be viewed on the airline’s website at www.flyzambia.com or by calling the reservations team on 0211 252452/476; 0977 335563; e-mail: reservations@proflight-zambia.com
