Huawei changes leadership in Uganda to spur growth

Huawei, has appointed Stanley Chyn as Uganda’s new Managing Director to replace Radoslaw Kedzia. Chyn was working as a deputy Sales Director for Huawei Zambia for approximately two years before joining Huawei Uganda.

His appointment is expected to help grow Huawei int eh country due to his nearly ten years in field of senior management.

‘I am grateful for the responsibility and challenge ahead of me in Uganda; a multi-national environment. I believe that our strategic planning; exceptional consistence, strong moral backbone, good business conduct and focus will enable us to continue bridging the digital divide, enriching life through communication in Uganda’, says Mr. Stanley Chyn.

Prior to being MD Uganda, Kedzia was the MD at Huawei Czech Rep and has also served in leadership positions at eServGlobal,     Safaricom Ltd. and at Ericcson.

Kedzia went to Warsaw University of Technology. As MD Uganda he was overseeing Uganda, Rwanda and Burundi.
