Here are the 11 Startups Pitching at Seedstars World Abidjan

seedstarsGlobal early-stage startups competition has announced the 11 startups that will pitch at its event in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire on Monday, August 29th at Colab Abidjan, with the winner destined to represent Côte d’Ivoire at the global event in Switzerland.

 

The 11 startups that are selected to participate at the Seedstars World pitching event are:

 

Mon artisan:  A platform that allows to quickly and easily find skilled craftsmen.

Aphelion Energy: A platform that delivers, installs and modernises solar energy solutions in rural areas.

Etudesk: A web platform permitting academic institutions to set up their e-learning platform easily and allows them to offer high quality courses.

Traffety: A safety tracking tool letting users know anytime where in his network emergency services are required.

SimPay: Offer small loans via credit card use among our partners possessing our mobile credit card readers.

Syca SAS: Syca Pay offers a global interoperability solution to simplify and bring out the digital payment in Africa.

ZoomVocal SARL: Gives people the chance to learn new competences through audio and at their own rhythm.

The initiative is carried out with the help of local ambassador Rites Massamba, CEO and Founder of IFID Solutions, who is representing the initiative throughout the year for the second time and local and international supporters such as Orange,  the Beezy Group Africa, Ovillage, Swiss Embassy and  Brussels Airlines.

 

 

Seedstars World and Intel are collaborating on the “Intel Solutions Challenge” to find the best startups in Hardware, IoT, Cloud and Analytics with the goal of inviting them to a prestigious Demo Day with internal and external partners who will give access to market and funding for the best startups.

 

The event will be held at Co-Labs Abidjan on the 29th of August. Attendees can register for free here.

Seedstars World is partnering with TRECC – “Transforming Education in Cocoa Communities”, an Abidjan-based coalition of public and private stakeholders focused on improving the quality of education in Côte d’Ivoire. TRECC is also the initiator and sponsor of the Transforming Education Prize, which is a 50k USD prize to be awarded through Seedstars World’s global competitions to the best startup in the education space with the goal to enhance education for communities in rural areas.
