Epson Appoints Pre and Post Sales Specialist for East Africa

Yesterday, Mr. Charles Muhoko was appointed as the new Pre and Post Sales Specialist for East Africa. In his new role, he will be responsible for high-level technical pre-sales support to the local sales teams, customers and channel partners. He will be tasked with understanding customer requirements with the aim of aligning and putting them in scope with Epson’s product portfolio to provide solutions that meet and exceed the customer needs. One of his key roles will be involved in the planning, coordinating and controlling the Post Sales and Customer Service activities of the Kenyan business. Mr. Muhoko will also work with third party service providers, Epson sales channel and internal stakeholders to maintain the Epson service network and meet organizational and operational objectives.

Before the recent appointment, Charles worked as a presales engineer with Novel Technologies East Africa Limited where he amassed a wealth of experience in tech sales. He also managed to become a territory manager at Unilever-ESA where he was also the IT system manager. Mr. Mukesh Bector, regional sales manager confirmed said: “Charles is a good asset, great team player and is knowledgeable in his area of expertise and we are very glad he has joined us. His appointment came about due to the need locally build up our Epson certified technicians in our service centers with the trainings and knowledge, which in turn will ensure they are able to assist our customers as needed.” The new appointment is in efforts to improve Epson’s service levels to a higher standard to ensure customers receive the best service experience possible. The staff is expected to grow the sales department, growing the team to five staff under the sales department, effectively growing the team to five staff in Kenya by the end of the year. Charles has keen interest in the Visual Imaging products and how Epson’s interactive projectors can provide an unmatched interactive learning solution in line with the Kenyan government embracing digital learning.
