Freelancing has over the years grown in Nigeria, and across Africa. While some are dropping their 9-5 jobs to focus on a freelancing career, and providing services in the skills they possess, others take on freelance jobs alongside their full-time jobs. For SMEs who are on a tight budget, and seeking ways to cut cost, they turn to freelancers to help carry out some tasks.
The freelance market is what Hirefreehands wants to cater for. The platform is a freelance marketplace, where people can find and work with top quality, professional and affordable freelancers.
Still in beta stage, Hirefreehands was launched in May 2017 by Sunkanmi Ola, with an aim to solve the prevalent problems everyday people and small businesses all over the world go through when it comes to finding & hiring qualified freelancers, negotiating with them, and managing their work delivery.
To ensure this aim is achieved, Hirefreehands has a Price Regulation Algorithm feature with pre-pay guarantee, which ensures that freelancers are always paid good value for their quality work, and also keeps prices affordable for the clients on the platform.
According to the founder, “We carefully verify all the freelancers we bring onboard, to verify that they indeed possess the skill they claim to have and in the event there are no “freehands” available, we have a set of supermen who are equipped to take on any possible task HFH promises to solve.
HFH ensures that clients and freelancers get what they signed up for without having to compromise on promise, quality or timeliness. As such, our platform is a level playing ground where everyone’s interest is protected”.
Because of the growth of freelancing, several platforms connecting businesses and freelancers has been launched, and with Hirefreehands joining the group, it’ll further promote the freelance culture in Nigeria.
