OPPO yesterday put the F3 device on sale as they had previously promised. The phone was on pre-order for the last couple of days and judging from the flocked room of customers coming to receive their booked device, it is safe to conclude that it was quite successful.
“There is very strong demand for affordable premium devices as most Kenyans are seeking to invest in technology that will enhance both their professional and social lives,” said Mr. Peng the OPPO CEO
“The OPPO F3’s dual selfie camera feature has proven to be our strongest selling point alongside its high resolution 16MP shooter which produces high quality images,” he added.
As a quick reminder, the phones headlining feature was its dual selfie cameras, a 16MP for high resolution solo shots and a 8MP for a super wide angle group selfies. The rear camera is a very capable 13MP with manual mode settings built in.
The rest of the specifications maintain the premium status, they include 5.5 inch Full HD display powered by an octacore CPU with 4GB RAM and a generous 64GB of storage expandable to 128GB. The battery is 3200mAh running on the Color OS 3.0 on top of Android 6.0. Check out the full specs here.
Those who pre-ordered received selfie sticks, power banks, wireless headphones and bluetooth speakers estimated at Sh.16,000 which were handed over by Mr. Peng himself at an event in Nairobi. From today, you can grab yourself the OPPO F3 from leading retailers and online stores at the price of KES 32,990. Watch out for the upcoming review of this phone here at TechMoran.
