Schoolive is a platform launched in January 2015 by Olatunde Aminu to help schools electronically manage their day to day activities that covers management of students, staff and parents affairs. This, is in a bid to remove administrative bottlenecks and communication gaps between the parents and the school.
The platform makes it easy for school owners to generate professional reports on records of students and staff anytime and communicate real time with parents and staff from anywhere in the world.
According to the team, after studying several schools in Nigeria and Diaspora, we observed the laborious paperwork involved in school management and information exchange system among the various departments in schools.
Some of the features available to schools include admission process management, helping school owners to manage the entire admission process, create and process application forms, computer based test and upload admission list. There’s also the students’ information management feature which helps to manage students’ profiles, online registration for new and returning students.
Schools are also able to manage fee payments via the platform by creating multiple fee plans, receipt, invoicing, vouchers, and also receive and process fees online via payment processors.
Other features include Time Table Management, Library Management, Transcript Management, Alumni Management, Leave & Payroll Management, SMS/e-Mail Notification, Hostel Management and all other regular operations that school owners have to manage.
