Infinix Mobility shared a not-so-cryptic post via her Twitter handle (@InfinixNigeria) that most likely translates into the coming of a new smartphone that will feature a dual camera lenses on the rear as its primary shooters.
Two good heads are better than one, so are two good lenses. Where is this artifact & who is hidden there? use the Hashtag #CapturedWith5 pic.twitter.com/ACsjIEY0f1

As seen in the above tweet, the Hong Kong-based smartphone manufacturer opines that “two good lenses are better than one” and really, I don’t think there is any other meaning to this asides the fact that the OEM is teasing about an upcoming device that will come with “two good lenses”.
Furthermore, the OEM have commenced a #Capturedwith5 hashtag movement which signals that the upcoming device that will house the company’s first dual lenses on the rear. By my guess, the smartphone will most likely be the Infinix Hot 5 Pro.
The Infinix Note 4 and Note 4 Pro are still somewhat new and still enjoying the patronage and love in the smartphone market, so the possibility of Infinix’s first dual camera smartphone being the Infinix Note 5 is very slim.
Not too long ago (October 22, 2017 to be precise), TECNO Mobile launched its flagship smartphones, the TECNO Phantom 8 and TECNO Phantom 8 Plus. The devices were special and turned heads as they launched with amazing specifications like the dual rear camera setup and a considerably large amount of RAM.
Knowing fully well that TECNO Mobile and Infinix Mobility (albeit owned by the same parent company, Transsion Holdings Ltd) share some bit of rivalry, it is understandable why Infinix is following keenly in Tecno’s footsteps – trying to keep the rivalry healthy.
If the smartphone happens to be the Infinix Hot 5 Pro, it definitely would be a massive one. The device will be succeeding the Infinix Hot 5 and Infinix Hot 5 Lite which both came with a signature dual front speakers.
What are your thoughts regarding the upcoming dual camera smartphone from Infinix?
