Sauti Sol to Perform at Jumia’s Black Friday Countdown Gala

This year, Jumia extended their usual Black Friday to run from 13th November to 13th December. To celebrate this month-long shoppers’ haven, the retail giant is hosting the biggest event in Nairobi this month, the Black Friday concert. 500 lucky shoppers who shop on Jumia during Black Friday duration will stand a chance to win tickets to this great concert.

The main performance of the event will done by the highly acclaimed Sauti Sol at the Alchemist Bar on Thursday, 23rd November. The concert will mark the first time that Jumia has held the biggest online event ever, it will let shoppers interact and have fun together in a gala that I similar to what Alibaba retailer from China did with Pharrell and Nicole Kidman during their ‘Single’s Day’

The same way Black Friday deals occur on Jumia, there will lots of surprises on the concert as well. Surprise artists such as Kenya’s No. One music band H-Art The Band and top DJ, DJ Crème De La Cream have been announced. Attendees will also get a chance to hop on deals packed with lots of exciting giveaways including shopping vouchers!

Speaking of attendees, to gain entry into the concert, you will need to use one of two ways; either shop at Jumia and if you are lucky, you will get two free concert tickets in your parcel upon delivery; alternatively, you can purchase the tickets on Jumia for KES, 1000!
