Being one of the most anticipated flagship smartphones of the year, Samsung hit the right cords with the Samsung Galaxy S10e, and the premium S10 and the S10 plus.
From the vantage point of its pricing, the $1000 price tag is absolutely the right amount for any premium smartphone lover-that crop of society that believes in the best of the best and have the money to back their desires. The Samsung Galaxy S10+ packs some of the excellent features worthy of being an archetype for the future smartphones such as reverse wireless charging (although Huawei was the pioneer).
The S10 and the S10+ also pack a gorgeous camera assembly of 12MP+12MP+16MP.
For firsts, the S10 Plus is the first phone to have an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor built into Samsung’s new 6.4-inch Infinity-O display. It’s also the first Galaxy S phone with five cameras, including an ultra-wide shooter on the back.
The phone has a HDR 10 capable screen, a huge 4100 mAh battery and still comes with the legendary “headphone jack”.
The list of pros can go on and on. With the global variant powered by the Exynos 9820, and introductory 8Gb of onboard RAM, the Samsung Galaxy S10+ is an absolute powerhouse. Before the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 arrives, the new Galaxy S10+ is the most powerful and advanced Samsung phone to buy in Kenya.
The S10 Plus is a big phone, and not one I can comfortably use one-handed. If I were to buy it, I’d probably put a case on it to make it easier to manage. For those who want a smaller phone, there’s the standard S10, which is still fairly big, and then the new, smaller S10E, which we covered in a separate review that you can look at now.
