7 Important Tips for Using Microsoft Word

It is no wonder that when we think of typing anything on the computer screens, the first thing that comes to mind is Microsoft word document. Ever since its inception, this platform has helped millennials to a great extent. In this article, I will give you some valuable tips to use Microsoft word. Keep in mind that this word processor has multiple tools in it. For this discussion, I assume you to be a beginner so that I can start with the basic explanation. Many people are Microsoft word novice, which is why they often lose their documents. The next step is that they need help to recover word document that was lost. Keep in mind that word recovery is not as difficult as it sounds. You have to be mindful when using this word processor.

1.      Always “save as” the document in the beginning

This is the first most important tip for word recovery. If your laptop is out of order and your fear that it might get turned off at any time, quickly save the document with a name in the beginning. Don’t wait to complete the document and then save. Most people make a common mistake of waiting for the entire document to finish and then save. Instead of going through the process of reading, you can simply give the find command by clicking Ctrl+F to reach the word that you want. Just type in the word in the search box you want, next it will simply appear on the left side of the window. The results displayed will give you all the sentences that the word has been used in, show in a chronological order.

7.      Clear all formatting at once

Documents that have excessive formatting and pictures take some time to load. The strange formatting can easily be removed if you want. Instead of fixing every error at once, simply press Ctrl+Space or click Clear All Formatting to remove the unwanted formatting. The next step is that you can start work in your own style.
