Motorola Edge might be launched during this year’s Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona. The styling is much the same as other devices in the series, with the same kind of speaker grille design up top, alongside a punch-hole camera opening.
It will be the first Motorola phone with a stylus after almost a decade
An image appearing to be of a Motorola phone complete with a stylus was leaked on @evleaks. The image could be a glimpse at the forthcoming Edge.
Lately, Motorola has been prolific with its launch of One series phones. Since 2018, it has released the One, Vision, Action, Zoom, Macro, and Hyper all joining the fray
With the edge now in the picture, we’re expecting a waterfall display, not necessarily a stylus, for that particular phone.
This year, in the MWC 2020, Motorola will showcase its latest and greatest products. There are high chances it can steal the spotlight from some of its main competitors. Most of them would rather do their events before or after MWC.
Yahoo News notes that a render of the alleged Moto G Stylus was posted on Twitter and it looks very basic. It has some similarities with the LG Stylophone in the past.
This means we can’t expect the stylus of the Motorola phone to be as smart but will perform just some basic functions like painting, opening and closing of apps and some more.
The render also shows the alleged Moto G Stylus from the front. The screen of the Motorola phone sports very thin bezels on the sides unlike some of the recently launched Motorola phones.
The bezels are comparatively thinner due to the presence of a punch-hole display.
Additionally, the Moto Edge might support the 5G network plus the next Motorola Razr. There are no further details of the Motorola phone with the stylus that we know. Perhaps much more details will be revealed in the MWC.
Some sources also reveal that besides the edge, Motorolla might as well launch the Motorolla Edge Plus version during the MWC week. No further details of the this Motorola flagship smartphone have been revealed. We will need to wait for the company to officially announce the smartphone and the specifications powering it.
