Once news of Tecra’s death broke after Keroche Breweries made the announcement in a statement, several Kenyans took it upon themselves to report on her life, specifically, love life.

Before she died, she was linked to “beach boy” Omar Lali, who was arrested over her death. Several Kenyan’s couldn’t help but share their comments regarding their relationship, and especially Omar himself.

The statement by Keroche Breweries wrote:

“The Board of Directors and Management of Keroche Breweries is deeply saddened to inform that Tecra Muigai Karanja passed away on Saturday, May 2, 2020 afternoon following a tragic accident. As we begin preparation for her final sendoff we ask for respect and privacy during these difficult times,”

Due to false publications, people believed that she died in a car accident, but Anerlisa came out to confirm that this wasn’t the case.

Furthermore, she paid a glowing tribute to her late sister.

“I celebrate you today and not mourn you, you were a blessings to our lives and nobody will ever replace you nor will you ever be forgotten. Tecra was my biggest cheerleader. 10,000 comments would mean nothing if she didn’t give hers. God rest you in peace”

In February this year, however, Anerlisa described her sister differently disclosing that the sister hated being in the limelight, and that was why she never shared any of her pictures.

My sister is so cold towards me. When we walk together then she sees a lot of people, she always leaves me like somebody she doesn’t know. (That is always embarrassing to me btw) she also introduces me as her friend lol, the worst is when she denies me. She just hates the spotlight and that is why I don’t post her on my page even if it’s a family photo,”

Currently, Tecra’s boyfriend Omar Lali is in custody and will remain there until detectives conclude investigations.
