Samsung records higher demand for Note 20 series in Kenya

Samsung has noted a 1.3 times increase in the number of pre-orders for its recently launched flagship brand the Samsung Note 20 Series in Kenya compared to the previous Note 10 Series.

The pre-order season for the Note 20 series which comprises of the Note 20 and the Note 20 Ultra began in the country on the 14th August and ended on 26th of August. The Note 20 is currently retailing at 107,000 Kenya shillings while the Note 20 Ultra is retailing at 137,000 Kenya Shillings.

The Galaxy Note20 and the Galaxy Note20 Ultra are packed with powerful innovations that take your productivity to new heights. The devices let you switch seamlessly between work and play, so you have more time to stay connected incluidng a number of existing features for you.

Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, is designed for Note fans who demand the ultimate in power and productivity, and Galaxy Note 20, for broader Note users looking to maximise their time for work and play.

Charles Kimari the Head of Integrated Mobile at Samsung says, “The Note 20 series is designed for a person who is trying to get the most out of work and pleasure so we are not surprised by the increase in pre-orders; we also expect the sales to be higher”

The Samsung Note 20 series comes at a time when most corporates have been forced to embrace the work from home culture. A majority of professionals are looking to invest in technology that will make their work from home experience better but more enjoyable and Samsung has come in handy at the perfect time. Although predicted a higher demand for the Note 20 series earlier. For instance, Samsung was confident the Note 20 series will perfrom well in India.

The pre-order concept has largely been implemented in developed countries accounting for up to 70 per cent of sales especially in the motor and tech industries. The same concept equally allows for prediction of the product performance in the market as compared to its competitors.
