The 2020 Africa Tech Summit Connects (ATS) will take place virtually between the 20-22 of October.

ATS is working in partnership with Disrupt Africa to accept applications for Pitch Live session of the event. Pitch Live Pitch Live is a startup-focused session where 15 selected start-ups will present their solution to over 500 people including investors, corporates and other stakeholders.

This year’s ATS will be run virtually with attendees joining via their mobile apps or desktop.

The virtual summit is planning to use AI to streamline attendees experiences through smart matchmaking, live 1:1 video meetings, and the  ability to find new customers, innovative products, investors, and opportunities via a virtual business marketplace.

The Pitch Lice session previously took place in 2019 and 2020 at the Africa Tech Summit in Kigali.

Over the course of the event, startups in all three categories (Pre-seed, seed and series A), will pitch their solutions and be provided the opportunity to engage with investors and other interested parties on the platform.

The pitching startups will also be able to attend the rest of the event.

ATS aims to showcase the best of innovations and developments from the African continent in the fields of e-commerce, investment, regulation and policy, blockchain, connectivity, fintech, ed-tech and agri-tech.

Applications will be open till September 28.
