If you lose an Android phone or tablet or a Wear OS watch, it can be found. Find My Device is automatically turned on if you have attached a Google Account to your device.
To find your device, that device must be;
- Be switched on
- Signed up for a Google Account
- Be connected to Wi-Fi or mobile data
- On Google Play, be visible
- Have Location turned on
- Turned on Find My Mobile
You must have a backup phone or backup code if you have used your missing phone for 2-step verification.
Remotely find:
1.Go to android.com/find and log in to your account with Google.
Tap the missing phone at the top of the screen if you have more than one phone.
If there is more than one user profile on your missing phone, sign in with a Google Account that’s on the main profile.
2.The missing phone will receive a notification.
